![]() The story and plot lines are very engrossing, and the villains are also very memorable. This game, Paper Mario The-Thousand Year door, was first make public at the Game Developers Conference of 2003 Cameo appearances of all of Marios partners from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven stars were planned in this game but were withdrawn during the last minute, and the only left were Parakarry and Lady Bow. It’s even easier than Super Mario RPG on the SNES! But with that being said, it’s still a very enjoyable experience. Also, due to limitations in the game, the standard items that enemies can hold range from ID 0x80 to 0xA0 (excluding 0x91). It should be noted that the Strange Sack and the Crystal Stars will never be held/dropped. The gameplay mechanics are executed pretty well, and the game is a lot of fun, but it has a problem which bothers people like I, and is very common among Mario games it’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too easy. All enemies in a battle will be holding a random item/badge, and one of these will be dropped at random when you have won the battle. You obtain one in each chapter of the game. The only way to open the Thousand Year Door is to collect all of the crystal stars. The treasure is behind the Thousand Year Door. Rogueport is a treacherous town with infamous thieves. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is certainly one of the best new Mario games to come to market in recent years, blending the best of many of Nintendo's game types into something that is a blast to play and varied enough to capture and keep your attention from beginning to end. Mario sets out on water to a town known as Rogueport. The plot of the game is that you’ve received a treasure map from Peach, and that she wants you to join her on the journey. Paper Mario TTYD is the Mario RPG for the Gamecube. ![]()
